The Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority meets monthly - usually on the second Tuesday of each month - in a public meeting to discuss policy matters and issues related to the operations of public transportation in the Lehigh Valley. The public is welcome to attend these meetings and the "courtesy of the floor" will be extended to anyone who wishes to attend and make a comment or suggestion. The Lehigh Valley Transportation Study (LVTS) Technical Committee meetings monthly at the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission offices. Representatives of the Planning Commission, LANTA, PennDOT, Lehigh Valley International Airport and the Cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton attend these meetings to discuss issues of import to the transportation system locally. LANTA holds a public hearing annually, usually in March, to review its program of projects for maintaining the transit system. Call LANTA at 610-435-4052 for the date and location of this meeting.
