LANTA TO PROVIDE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO IRON PIGS-PHILLIES GAME

Sunday Service to Run Express from Allentown Transportation Center and Bethlehem Transit Center at Broad and Guetter Sts.

Lehigh Valley, PA (Special) ---- Lehigh and Northampton Transportation Authority (LANTA) will provide special express bus service Sunday (March 30) for the opening game at Coca Cola Park pitting the Iron Pigs against the Philadelphia Phillies major league club.
The announcement of the one-day service was made by Armand Greco, LANTA’s Executive Director.

Buses will leave the Allentown Transportation Center (ATC) at sixth and Linden Streets, as well as the Bethlehem Transit Center at Broad and Guetter Streets in Bethlehem beginning at noon and ending at 2 p.m. Trips will leave every thirty minutes on the half hour. Retuning trips will leave the ballpark beginning at 4:30 p.m. The last trip will leave for each transit center at 6:00 p.m.

Stadium Express Service riders who use either ATC or the Broad and Geutter decks will be have free parking at the two lots adjacent to the bus transfer stations courtesy of the Allentown and Bethlehem Parking Authorities. LANTA riders on the stadium express buses will pay a special reduced one- dollar fare for the round trip. LANTA will also accept other valid fares and tickets for those transferring from other Metro routes.
